A plan of one of the three proposals for the development of the land owned by the Crown in Marylebone, a competition that was eventually won by John Nash. This version has a ring of mansions around the outside of parkland, and a 'Grand Crescent' around a parish church.
This plan was engraved by Neele from a manuscript by Peter Potter, and was published in John White's ''Some Account of the Proposed Improvements of the Western Part of London, By the Formation of the Regent's Park, The New Street, The New Sewer, &c. &c.''.
