A reduced version of Hondius's 1606 map of Japan, engraved by Pieter van den Keere for Cloppenburg's version of the 'Atlas Minor', the largest of the Mercator pocket atlases.
On the map Hokkaido has yet to appear and Korea is shown as an island.
